LWF has significant experience in applying fire engineering measures to some of the countryï¿½s finest buildings where special consideration must be given to the protection of the building fabric. Creative and sympathetic specialist fire safety measures have been utilised to ensure minimal impact on protected and historic buildings.
LWF has provided fire safety services to a wide variety of Leisure and Entertainment complexes. The services range from the provision of fire engineered advice for crowd evacuation to risk assessment for numerous West End Theatres.
LWF has developed fire engineering design and provided fire risk assessment advice to several new industrial building schemes, where an understanding of the buildings use and the processes undertaken within the building is critical.
Our fire engineering experience for transport systems is wide-ranging and encompasses many aspects of the operators business. Fire safety services have been provided for the design of a new station complex; the fire risk evaluation of existing stations; the determination of systems of risk management; detailed fire safety compliance inspections and management/definition of fire safety risk in above-ground buildings portfolios.
LWF has considerable fire engineering development experience through our involvement in the development of new office buildings and refurbishment of existing buildings.
