LWF has over the years provided fire safety services to a variety of Leisure and Entertainment complexes, these services range from the provision of fire engineered advice for crowd evacuation to risk assessment to numerous West End Theatres.

LWF have provided fire engineering advice and design to several new industrial building schemes where an understanding of the buildings use and the processes undertaken within the building is critical.

Our fire engineering experience associated with transport systems is wide ranging and covers many aspects of the operators business. Services have been provided for the design of a new station complex, the fire risk evaluation of existing stations, the determination of systems of risk management, detailed fire safety compliance inspections and management / definition of fire safety in above ground buildings portfolios.

LWF have considerable experience through our involvement in the development of new office buildings and refurbishment of existing buildings. Often these buildings incorporate the use of innovative materials as well as atriums, high reception spaces and large open plan office area.

With the development of larger more complex buildings, LWF has gained considerable experience in providing fire engineering advice for buildings incorporating atria and other open spaces.

LWF has significant experience in appying fire safety engineering measures to some of the Countries finest buildings where special consideration must be given to the protection of the building fabric.

Experience in this sector has been gained in all types of educational premises, from simple fire risk assessments to schools and colleges to the development of performance based designs for new and exisitng universities.

LWF has extensive experience of working within the healthcare environment providing services directly to NHS Trusts, Private Health Organisations and Consortia under PFI schemes.
