Fire Engineer
LWF currently require a Fire Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience in a fire engineering design environment. You should have relevant qualifications in fire safety design and be able to demonstrate proven past experience. Projects extend throughout Europe with the majority of business based in the UK. The scope of work ranges from fire and evacuation modelling for complex buildings, to fire plans, systems definition and design support to other professionals involved in new build and refurbishment projects. Assigned tasks will include: Fire risk analysis, Fire growth and development modelling, Means of escape & evacuation modelling, Development of building fire safety plans, Prescriptive fire precautions interpretation. Proven skills must have been developed in several of the above tasks. The confidence and experience of the individual will enable rapid development to a key responsibility within the company. Graduate Fire Engineers
LWF specialists in the development of fire safety engineering and the application of fire safety standards are currently seeking Graduates Engineers qualified to BEng (Hons) Fire Engineering, BSc (Hons) Fire Science, BSc (Hons) Fire Safety Management or an MSc Fire Safety to join our expanding fire safety consultancy. Collaboration with professional building designers extends throughout Europe, where our work scope ranges from fire and evacuation modelling for complex buildings, to fire plans, fire systems definition and design support. Other areas of work include, Prescriptive fire precautions interpretation, MOE and evacuation modelling, Fire growth and development modelling and Fire risk analysis. Senior Fire Safety Surveyor
A minimum of 5 years experience in a fire safety management environment. You should have relevant qualifications in fire safety and be able to demonstrate proven past experience. The work scope ranges from fire strategy development to fire safety management systems providing design support to a broad client base involved in new build and major refurbishment projects. Assigned tasks may include: The development of fire safety strategy & fire safety management systems. Fire risk analysis & fire risk management control. Means of escape and evacuation analysis. Passive fire precautions & practice. Detection & alarm systems. Fire spread & its control. Proven skills should have been developed in several of the above task definitions. The confidence and experience of the individual will enable rapid development to a key responsibility within the company. Fire Risk Assessors
Due to our current demand from a broad client base we are currently seeking to increase our number of Consultant Fire Risk Assessors. We are seeking individuals who are self motivated with excellent attention to detail and professionalism to provide our clients with a level of service thay have come to expect. You will be required to undertake fire risk assessments on properties as diverse as day care centres to large industrial installations.
